"I’m going out," Vala said looking at Daniel with her head cocked.

"What do you mean you’re going out?" Daniel asked, a bit shocked to say the least.

"Sam and I are having a, ‘girls night’," Vala explained. "I would invite you darling, but you’re not a girl."

"You and Sam are having a what?" Daniel asked standing still in Vala’s doorway.

"From what I’ve seen on television, its when a group of girls get together, put green stuff on their face, eat candy and talk," she explained as she packed her bag with a pair of pajamas.

"And you and Sam are doing this?" Daniel asked, still very much confused.

"Well yes, because she said what just happened that we needed it and it would make everything better," Vala explained. "Well darling, it was great talking to you, but I have to go."

"At least let me drive you to Sam’s place."

"Oh no need, Sam and I are going together. Honestly Daniel, are you jealous?" Vala asked looking at him with her pigtails bouncing slightly.

"Of course not," Daniel blurted out. "Go enjoy being a girl."

"I will," Vala smiled before skipping down the corridors leaving Daniel in the wake of her quarters.

"So this is a girls night?" Vala asked as she and Sam sat on Sam’s bathroom floor, wax on their legs, masks on their faces and drinking smoothies with a straw.

"Pretty much," Sam smiled. "Once in a while its good to remember that you gotta pamper yourself."

"This wax stuff wont hurt right?" Vala asked as the two reached down to pull the piece of material from their legs.

"Its not supposed to," Sam replied. "On the count of three. One. Two. Three."

Two screams ripped through the house as Vala and Sam started to wail about from the waxing of their legs.

"Oh that doesn’t hurt at all!" Vala said as she fanned her leg with her hands. "I vote that we no longer wax."

"I second that, motion carried," Sam said before whimpering. "That really hurt."

"I also vote we do not tell the boys this," Vala said taking a drink of her smoothie.

"I also agree. You know what Cam will say ‘Don’t be such a girl’," Sam nodded standing up and putting the wax on the counter as the doorbell rang. "Oh that’d be Teal’c, he always comes to girls night," she said as Vala stood up and followed her friend to the front door. Knocking on the inside Sam waited and heard a knock, opening the door Teal’c stood, three pizza boxes and a bag in his arms. "Teal’c come on it."

"Thankyou ColonelCarter," Teal’c replied stepping in. "I have brought pizza and Star Wars, it has been many months since we have watched it together."

"How nice of you," Sam said turning around. "Teal’c’s favourite movie is Star Wars."

"I haven’t seen it," Vala said shaking her head as Teal’c looked at her. "What?"

"Come with me ValaMalDoran," Teal’c said walking into the livingroom and over to Sam’s TV. "Star Wars is significant to ones development here on earth."

"Why is that?" Vala asked siting down on the couch as Sam brought in more drinks and napkins for the pizza.

"Because," was Teal’c’s only reply as he sat down in the middle of the couch and turned on the movie. Vala shrugged and got comfortable as the movie started.

"So Teal’c how was your weekend," Cameron asked Monday morning, half a waffle in his mouth.

"It was enjoyable," Teal’c replied as Sam and Vala sat down at the table.

"Good morning," Vala smiled perkily setting her bowl of oatmeal down.

"Mornin girlies," Cam smirked as an orange peal was thrown at his head. "I was just bein’ friendly. So what did you girls do this weekend."

"Oh nothing much," Vala replied as she stirred yogurt into her oatmeal.

"Hi," Daniel smiled coming to the table and sitting down. "How was your girls night?"

"What girls night?" Cam asked looking at Sam and Vala.

"None of your business," Sam said giving Cam a look.

"Indeed," Teal’c agreed.

"What Teal’c you were part of this?" Cameron asked as the two women and the Jaffa looked at each other. "Is it like we always imagined, naked pillow fights?"

The next thing the Colonel knew a bowl of oatmeal and yogurt was on his head, coffee dumped into his lap and he was alone.

"What! I was only kidding," he said trying to wipe Vala’s concoction off his head.

"Did you have a good time?" Daniel asked catching up with Vala who nodded.

"I did," she smiled. "Daniel?"

"Yes?"

"Its nice to be a girl," she grinned.
