Daniel could not help but watch the sunrise. Softly and quietly, the sun’s light washed over Vala’s skin. The light warmed the paleness of the skin and lit the white sheets that covered her body. Daniel’s eyes followed the light up and down Vala’s body until the light hit her face. The beautiful gold of the sunrise washed over her and the smile it brought to Daniel’s face was amazing. As the liht washed over her eye lashes, Daniel couldn’t help but trace the light with his finger. He smiled as Vala rolled towards him, and the light washed over her front.

"Good morning," Daniel whispered as Vala mumbled incoherently as her eyes opened slowly. "You know, I think you’re more beautiful when the sun rises on you."

"Daniel," Vala started with a whisper. "Flattery will get you everywhere."

Daniel laughed and leaned down to kiss her sunrise kissed lips.
