“I’d rather be stabbed in the back!”
“That can be arranged.” Vala smirked and pulled out a small dagger. She ran it
over Daniel’s jaw line, following the blade with her lips. Caressing every spot
it touched.
He kept his face blank, but his body betrayed him. His jeans that hugged his
toned physique revealed his arousal.
“Vala. No.”
“Daniel. Yes.” She nipped at his bottom lip, then grabbed his shirt pulling his
erection firmly against her. His eyes were full of both passion and annoyance.
She giggled and backed away.
“No.” His voice held a trace of lust.
She dangled the object of his protest over her shoulder. “Let’s make a deal.
You wear this, I’ll do whatever you want tomorrow.” She paused making sure she
had his full attention. “Anything.” Vala purred.
He finally smiled. “You promise.”
“I promise.”
The triumphant look on his face surprised her. “Good.” He grabbed the clothing
and headed to his bedroom. Vala heard him whistling and the sound of fabric
rustling. She had a feeling that the master manipulator had just been
manipulated by an archeologist.
She pursed her lips, but kept silent while he changed.
Daniel stepped out a few minutes later. “I can‘t get this on straight.”
Vala Mal Doran was speechless. That was saying something. He’d put it on
alright. And she’d thought he looked sexy in a pair of jeans. Tight brown
leather pants, just as tight leather shirt, which was of course, sleeveless.
And then the bandana. God she loved him in those. Daniel Jackson, in leather.
Her Daniel. Perhaps she had done something right lately.
“Could you turn around please?” She batted her eyelashes when his eyes
narrowed.
He turned. She felt herself being sorely tempted to forget about the party. But
she pulled herself together and walked over taking the eye patch from his hand.
Their fingers brushed and she felt her control waver. It was wrong he affected
her this much.
Then she saw the way he was looking at her, and she didn’t feel quite so silly.
Vala arranged the patch over his right eye and grinned. “You look amazing.”
“I look stupid.”
“I’d say more sexy.”
“Vala, I’m dressed like a pirate.”
“And I’m dressed like a barmaid." Vala placed her hands on her hips.
"Don’t think I haven’t noticed you checking out my cleavage darling.”
He shook his head, but slid his arm around her waist and pulled her against him
for a much to short kiss.
“We’d better get going.
She nodded.
Daniel held the door for her. “You know.” He was smiling. “I would have worn
this for free.”
Vala glared at him and pulled out the fake dagger that had come with her
costume again. “Don’t tempt me.”
His grin never faltered. “I figured if I whined a little you might make me an
offer I couldn’t refuse.” He leaned in closer, his lips brushing her ear as he
spoke. “Just wait until you see what I make you wear tomorrow.” He traced her
ear with his tongue, she moaned.
Then he pulled away and headed toward the car, leaving her breathless and
shuddering. He turned halfway. “Coming.”
“Bastard.” She mouthed, but she couldn’t keep the smile off her face.
