“Let’s not.”
“Leap Frog?”
“Nope.”
“How about strip poker?”
“No!”
Using her hands for leverage, Vala hauled herself up to sit on Daniel’s desk. “Bowling?”
“Uh uh.”
With a sigh as deep as the
Daniel swatted her hand away from his hair. “Not gonna happen.”
“Well what DO you want to do? Why’d you call me in here? You said there was something you wanted to do. So? What is it?”
He tapped his thigh and crooked his head. Vala blinked in surprise, grinned, hopped off the desk and sat on his lap. His mouth took a long swipe at hers, kissing her deeply. “That. Now go get dressed. We’re going out.”
