They were home. Holding hands, standing outside the front door, they realised they were home.

"You ready to go in?" Daniel asked softly, turning towards Vala who just stared at the door. Shaking her head no, he nodded. "Take your time."

"It’s unreal," she said softly.

"I know," Daniel replied. The second their opened the door to their apartment, their lives were going to change. Everything they knew about being Home, would be different. He looked down at the baby carrier in his other hand and smiled at the sleeping baby girl.

The two were off world when the baby decided to make her appearance. Vala cried to be home. Getting home proved difficult for the team, who were forced to deal with a very weak Vala and a baby who could easily slow them down in a split second by crying.

Though, none of them thought that Vala at seven and a half months pregnant could give birth on a simple mission. But they should have realised that they were indeed SG-1, and should known better.

"Lets go," Vala said opening the front door and stepping into their apartment. Well, Daniel’s apartment, in which the two girls were going to be living too.

"Come on Dayna, lets get home," Daniel whispered to the baby, as he guided Vala into the apartment. Just as they left it, books and magazines scattered over the coffee table. Daniel’s favourite coffee mug, still coffee in it sitting with a ring around it. A half eaten bagel of Vala’s beside it, still on its plate.

Their apartment looked like a teenager’s, but it wasn’t a home of teens.

"Daniel, a baby can’t live like we do," Vala replied as Daniel nodded his head.

"We’ll clean up after we get her settled," Daniel replied setting the newborn on their kitchen table to take her out of the carrier. "Hi Dayna, you’re awake. Don’t mind the place, me and Mommy weren’t expecting you so soon, or we would have cleaned up." Dayna made a few soft sounds as Daniel passed her over to Vala.

"Welcome home sweetheart," she whispered leaning down and kissing Dayna’s head.
