Finally I’ve had some time to work on some updating. I’m pleased to announce that my newest Supernatural fic “Stalking Shadows” is presently being uploaded to the site. I’ve also added more parts to other previous Supernatural work in progress stories and have added a few more parts to the Stargate series “Mada’s Cursed”. I do hope you enjoy the updates.

The Mystic Gateway
It has been some time since I’ve done any kind of updating to this website. I am intending to correct that in the near future starting with posting the final three parts to my ongoing work in progress story: “Burning Embers”. It has twelve parts total and is now officially completed.
In the next few months I hope to work on updating all my WIP stories on the site as well as making more updates to the Daniel/Vala Archive. Life has sort of taking over and as a result little has been completed here. I shall attempt to correct that and thank you all for you continued patience.

Lots of changes are underway with the website now. I’ve recently started fiddling with graphics, so I’m creating some for various different sections of the site. I’ve also ventured into another fandom, which has led to me having to rework a bit of the site to incorporate it. More changes are on the way so bear with me as I work on improving the website overall. : )

Since there are so many authors now housed on the archive I changed the lay out of the “Stories by Author” page. Now it is divided by author’s name. Another rather massive update for my part of the site! Over the course of the last several months I’ve written quite a few shorter fan fiction stories for the fandom of Stargate SG-1 and neglected to post them here. I’m happy to say that they are all now up on the site for your reading pleasure! You will find new slash stories on the Slash Fiction Index page of the site. I do hope you enjoy them!
Also, finally, after several years I have come to the point where I am able to release the NEXT INSTALLMENT of the “One Fantasy Leads to Another” series. This story is the fifth installment in a series of stand alones and can be found in the Slash Fiction Index. The new installment is titled “The Price of Opposition” in which Daniel’s education is continued. I do hope you enjoy it!

I finally have a rather massive update for my part of the site. Over the course of the last several months I have undergone the writing of multiple short fan fiction stories. Each has been posted to my LiveJournal, but I haven’t had the time to add them to my site. I finally managed to complete an update to the General Fiction Index. There you will find a multitude of new stories that I had neglected to place on the site prior to now. I hope you enjoy the new stories you find there! : )
As well as writing a bunch of short general fan fiction I have also written several short slash fic works. I am still presently working on preparing them for the site but plan to upload them as soon as they are ready. Please check back for updates and thank you again for stopping by.

Now that I’m back from my vacation to Chicago I’m able to continue my updates. I just uploaded another Jack/Daniel slash vid. This one is titled “Going Under”. It’s basically a darker look at Jack and Daniel’s relationship. Daniel is literally “drowning” in Jack.
There are also two newer vids that were added to the site before I left for Chicago that I failed to announce. The first one is titled “Burning Bright” and it’s sort of an experimental character vid about Daniel. The second vid is my second Jack/Daniel vid and that one is titled “Savin’ Me”. It’s sort of a ‘Jack is the one who saves Daniel’ type of vid. I have a few more vids that need to be uploaded but they may take a few more weeks, so please be patient. I have begun to upload parts to a supernatural/paranormal slash fiction story I wrote several years ago. I was a bit leery about releasing it, but my best friend kept encouraging me to do so. She loves the story and after reviewing the other supernatural story I wrote and determining it wasn’t yet finished I decided to release the one that is complete. So far I have uploaded the first two parts and intend to upload the rest. First I want to do a last read through, do a bit of editing and apply some finishing touches. I do hope you enjoy the story. A new story has just been added to the Slash Fiction Index. “Dreams They Taunt” is a companion piece to my first table fic “But Dreams Remain”. These two stories are the start of what may possibly become a series. I haven’t yet decided how far to take the series itself but will be posting parts as they are written.
Also in the Slash Fiction Index is the parts page for my newest AU slash fic “Masks of Protection” I will soon begin uploading parts to that story has time permits. The story is now complete and a total of eight parts so if you’ve been waiting to read it check back in the near future for it.
Lastly, I am making some minor changes throughout the website and revamping some areas. Please be patient during this process.

The archive is fast approaching the official unveiling, though it has taken longer than planned to open it I’m aiming for the end of next week as the official time to announce it. The Daniel/Cameron Archive
The DC Archive is still being worked on. There are still a few more stories that need to be added to the site and author’s contacted before I unveil the archive to lists and communities. I’m aiming for the end of the week for the official unveiling but that still is based on how much time I have available to do so.
There is now an official LJ community for the DC Archive. I decided to go ahead and create one to provide authors with another method to submit stories to the archive and to allow for an easier method with which to receive updates. The Daniel/Cameron Archive List is open so please feel free to investigate and join the community if you’re interested!

After much consideration and fiddling with color schemes I believe I have settled on one that I like for the archive. As a result there is a new color scheme throughout the archive. I believe the new background color, while similar, is not as bright and also makes links and information much easier to see. I hope this new color scheme works out better than the last and thank you all for your patience during the transition/update time!
I am also very pleased to announce the first official update for the archive! There are ten new stories now located in the archive so head on over and check them out!

The DC Archive is drawing nearer to completion and its official opening. There are about twelve more stories that need to be coded before its official opening and still author’s need to be contacted so they can double check the story information etc to see if anything needs changed. I’m aiming for the end of next week as the official opening but again how far I get is based on how much time I have to work on it. More stories have been added and can be accessed but the archive is still not ready for unveiling.

Presently the archive is up and running and several authors have since contacted me giving me permission to add their stories to it. I will be working on prepping those stories in the coming week. I’m also debating about changing the entire color scheme of the archive. I have been told by several people that the links are hard to read and that the archive pages themselves are a bit bright so I’ve been fiddling with color schemes. If I find one I like I’ll be working on changing it in the next week or so.

There are now THREE main sections to this website. One part of the site houses my own works, one houses the Daniel/Vala Archive and one houses the soon to be ready Daniel/Cameron Archive. Due to now having three main sections to my website I will be breaking the updates down by section to make it easier to read through. New stories to either archive will be placed on their own separate pages to break down the updates page a bit. I also plan to look into creating a community or list strictly for the purpose of announcing new stories added to the archives and as another way for authors to submit their works. I am happy to announce that I finally have completed another story to add to the website. “But Dreams Remain” is a new Jack/Daniel story that can be found in the Slash Fiction Index. It is the result of joining the table fic challenge over at the LiveJournal community smut_69. I do hope you enjoy it!
I have also included the description for another new story “Masks of Protection” in the Slash Fiction Index. This story is a Jack/Daniel AU slash fic that is not yet complete but is very near completion so I added the description and the parts page to the website for the upcoming release of the story. Hopefully I’ll be able to start uploading parts of the story to the website in the coming weeks.

As I mentioned earlier in the week the archive is nearing its officially unveiling. The present hold up is waiting for a few more authors to contact me to confirm their story information etc is correct. I plan to announce the opening of the archive in the next few days. I’m most happy to announce that the Daniel/Vala Archive is now officially open! Well, not exactly, I still need to contact a few authors to check if they have websites or not and have them check to see if all the information contained in the archive is as correct as it can be but it’s DONE! The archive is officially completed! And now I can celebrate! : )
I plan to continue to watch sites and lists for more DV fic to add to the archive and am looking for people who are willing to submit their stories so please start writing them and sending them so we can make the archive grow! The unveiling of the archive won’t be officially announced to lists and groups until later in the week as I still need to contact some of the wonderful authors who have been so kind and willing to allow me permission to house their fic on my site, but it is accessible and you’re welcome to explore it if you’d like.

The DC Archive is next on the list for completion. While all links on the archive are accessible and usable and some stories are already there to read there are still many more stories to code and prep before the archive will be officially unveiled. I plan to begin work on that one shortly and would like to thank everyone for your continued patience during the design and development phase of the archive.

Throughout the coming weeks I will be fiddling off and on with the site in general as I prep both the DC and DV archives for unveiling. You may notice the site down a bit more than normal due to me uploading changes and new information to the site. I do apologize for the inconvenience while the site is under construction.
I believe I finally have the main search “bars” for the archives figured out. I will be adding stories and more pages as time permits. I am still waiting on several authors to get back to me for permission to archive their stories and hope to have at least the Daniel/Vala Archive up and running within the next week or so. More work has been done on both the Daniel/Cameron Archive and the Daniel/Vala Archive. I’ve been coding stories and linking them up. Some have been uploaded and can be read on the DV archive already while many have no links to them yet. In the DC Archive none of the story links work. I’ve been trying to get stories prepped to add to that archive and trying to decide whether to use efiction software or not. As of right now I am doing it all by hand. In the coming months I may switch to eficiton software for both archives.
Presently I have also added two more paths to search stories through: Stories by Rating and Stories by Category. In the coming days I’ll be working on linking up more stories and preparing both archives for unveiling. Thank you for your patience during this time.

I’ve been fiddling around with the two newest additions to the website. Both the Daniel/Cameron Archive and the Daniel/Vala Archive are presently under construction. I have uploaded what has so far been completed on the Daniel/Vala archive with the label “Site under construction”. The archives still remain incomplete. What has been uploaded today is a “test run” of the archive itself.
Work on the Daniel/Cameron Archive is presently under way. I’ve been considering using a newer software for that archive but it is still very much in the beginning phases. The archives will not be officially announced until all work that still must be done is completed so please don’t direct people there quite yet. Thank you and please continue to check back for updates on the progress of both archives.

There are a few updates to report. After serious consideration I have decided to go ahead and start both a Daniel/Cameron Archive and a Daniel/Vala Archive. Both archives are still under construction but the links to the main pages of each archive are now active. I hope to have both archives up and running shortly but first I have to seek permission from authors to archive their fic and announce to lists that they are open for submissions before I can give both archives an official stamp of approval. If you’d like to poke around a bit feel free to but no links on either of these pages work yet.
The only other new addition to the website is that I have created a banner for those who wish to use it to link up to my website. I will eventually create banners for the archives as well but for the moment only one exists. Feel free to use it to link to this site. The new banner is located in the Misc. Section of the website. I am presently working on adding background color to the website. I decided that for the stories themselves I am going to go with a duller white instead of the blue background now appearing throughout the site itself. I hope that in doing so it will make the actual story pages easier to read. Please feel free to e-mail with any thoughts, feedback or comments you may have regarding the newest changes to the site. It was brought to my attention several weeks ago that it’s very difficult for readers to locate my WIP story “Friends and Enemies” online. Upon this realization I have decided to upload all parts so far written to the site, but please be aware that parts 3-9 HAVE NOT yet been beta read. That being said:
Parts 3-8 of “Friends and Enemies” has now been added to the website. Part 9 will be up as soon as I prep it. Enjoy!

Finally I have managed to finish uploading ALL parts of “Personal Sacrifice” to the website. It is a lengthy story so be prepared if you decide to read it. I apologize for taking so long to get it up and running but life has been rather hectic. Hopefully in the coming months I’ll be able to finish uploading more stories and add a few that have never been read. Enjoy and thank you all so very much for being so patient with me!

This is a small update:
There are two NEW stories added to the Adult Fiction Archive. They are both stories involving the pairing of Janet/Daniel. The first one is titled “Private Confessions” and is the first installment in the Tensions Series, a set of stories dealing with how Daniel and Janet evolve from friends to lovers, more installments will be added as they are written. The story can be read as a stand-alone fic. I hope you enjoy it!
The second story that has been added to the Adult Fiction Archive is also a Janet/Daniel story titled “TLC.” This is my first attempt at writing these two in a loving relationship, as a couple. I’d appreciate any feedback you may have on either story. I’m relatively new to the pairing and any input provided will be greatly appreciated. Thank you and I do hope you enjoy the stories!

There have been some minor changes made to the website itself as well as some new updates.
The following stories have been updated:
* Part 6 of “When Terror Strikes” has been added to the General Fiction Archive.
* Installment 2 of “Lindsey’s Revelation” has been added to the General Fiction Archive. The story is now up in its
entirety.
* Parts 11 and 12 of “Personal Sacrifice” have been added to the Slash Fiction Archive.
In regards to the minor changes:
There is now a parts page for “Lindsey’s Revelation” that matches the layout of the other stories with multiple parts and a new image has been added to the Adult Fiction Archive in preparation for the future uploading of several new adult stories.

I apologize for the lateness and smallness of this update. RL has been a real challenge lately and free time is very hard to come by. There are a few more updates to report to the site: Part 8 of “Personal Sacrifice” has been added to the site as well as Part 1 of my second Early Edition fan fiction story “When Terror Strikes”. I will be continuing to work on getting the rest of my stories prepared for uploading.
“Friends and Enemies” will take a bit longer than planned to get uploaded due to the busy schedule of my beta reader so please be patient. Parts will be added as they are completed.

Another slash story has been added to the website: “Tempting the Colonel” can be found in the slash fiction section of the archive. Also part 1 of “Friends and Enemies” is now available for reading. Enjoy!
Three more stories have been added to the website: “The Stranger I Once Knew” is located in the general fiction section; “Please Me, Tease Me” is located in the adult fiction section and “The First Time” can be found in the slash section. I tried my hand at a new pairing and now have one new story added to my site. There is a new Daniel/Janet story located in the General Fiction section of the site. It’s a short story and my first attempt at this particular pairing. It’s called “Reflections”. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it!
There are also a few changes in the layout of certain sections of the site. I am presently working on rearranging a few things to improve the site’s look overall. Please feel free to comment or make suggestions on the improvements done thus far. Thank you!

Part 3 of “Personal Sacrifice” is now up on the site and available for reading. I am presently working on prepping each part for uploading and will be doing so as parts are completed. I have also finished creating my Stargate Daniel LiveJournal mood theme, which has been added to the Misc. section. I will be making more changes to the website throughout the coming weeks and will announce when new things are added, so please continue to check this page for what’s new.
Well this will be my first update notice. I’ve been designing this website for several weeks now and finally am to the point where I can actually place it on the Internet so others can browse through it. Some more stuff will be added, and I intend to make updates monthly. Presently all links should be working throughout the site. If you find a broken link please email me to let me know about it so I can fix it. The story sections are just about finished and new stories will be added as I complete them. The galleries and tributes pages are not yet in their final stages but can be viewed. I intend to add more to both sections. The miscellaneous section is made up of wallpapers, LJ icons and banners. Right now there isn’t a whole lot there, but I will be adding things as I create them on my hard drive. Finally, the links page has quite a variety of links incorporated in it already (and more will be added eventually) so feel free to go there and peruse the list.
